Cycranes? Thinking back, actually, I'm not sure we ever made any stops on the Luofu specifically? We encountered a couple other Xianzhou ships, but not that one. So I don't think I've seen cycranes yet, no. But small creatures can still be pretty nice, I guess that's true...and birds do still have plenty going for them. [birdhood suited old glaux just fine, especially!] Hey, have you seen a clockwork bird yet, Caelus?

Hold on, lemme get you a pic
[ it only takes a second, and then caelus has got an absolutely beautiful shot ready for misha: a pack of cycranes in v-formation, soaring through the synthetic luofu sky, one of them close enough to the lens to be in glorious focus, every facet of its metal shell and bearing in its body exposed to the viewer. sure enough, these fantastic xianzhou birds are mechanical in nature. not quite as cute as the origami birds, sure, but there's an elegance to them all the same! ]

I know they don't look quite as cute as Clockie at first, but they're funny cuz they've all got personalities
They're just supposed to be mail delivery birds, but I've given out a lot of bird therapy at this point

Oh, wow! What cool little fellas! I mean, true, they're not super cute...but they probably weren't designed with cuteness exactly in mind, anyhow, if they're mail delivery birds? Utility constructs! But pretty elegant for utility...look at those sleek narrow joints and lines! A nice color palette too...pretty clean, not too loud.
They've got personality modules? What kinds of problems do mail delivery birds have? [...wait...] Oh, hold on. I'm just remembering...maybe I shouldn't be distracting you so much while you're trying to make a drink, oops...
But, you should tell me about the kinds of problems mail delivery birds have when the drink's finished. While I'm drinking it!

I'm heading over right away. Tell Mr. Shush thanks for keeping it cold for me? Though his drinks are pretty weird, yeah...I'm glad you've made this one....I don't know who's supposed to be able to drink that one on the menu with all the nuts and bolts in it...
Gosh, I'm still really surprised that guy's up and running now too? I remember him being in the storeroom ages ago, but I could never figure out how to get him working...his tech's kind of strange, it wasn't really my wheelhouse. Miss Himeko sure is an amazing mechanic, getting him back on his feet after all this time!
